Hello,
Just thought I'd let you know that I have just insured a weeks holiday with Direct Travel Insurance, (from your list). I got cover despite 5 admissions in the last year. I had to pay an additional premium of ?67, which is a lot but it is worth it for the piece of mind.
Other normal insurace companies would not cover anything relating to SLE so that would have ruled out most things.
So thanks for the list. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Thanx.gif
2 weeks for me to stay healthy then a treat for the whole family!! just what we all need.
Sarah
i went earlier this year with Freedom insurance....... tesco wouldn't insure me as i had been in hospital twice, within 6 months
but Freedom were great. Lin xxxxxxxxxx (Happy hols)

I am off to italy by coach with my son for Easter.
My travel co wanted forty quid to give full cover to my son and limited cover for me, so if I become ill not covered.
Gave freedom a ring and for another twenty puonds they will give complete cover to both of us, and if I become ill they will make all my sons arrangements also. Plus for each policy taken out they will give a small donation to lupus trust :)

Going to Menorca is couple of weeks and was having trouble getting Travel Insurance.
I gave Freedom a call this morning and have got cover for all family, including me and my Lupus etc etc. They were so helpful and I can now travel knowing that if I become unwell that we are all covered.
Would definetley recommend them.

I have insured the whole family for years with Direct Travel ( my daughter used to work for them) and they dont load the premium just because of my lupus, other family members have also had serious illnesses and the price remains the same under £50 per ann, i have also had to make 2 claims due to illness canc a holiday and it was so easy with little red tape, i would certainly recommend.
