Just need to moan a little style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif
Feel like I have been doing really well and staying positive recently but have now hit a big bump that I can?t quite get round. It?s lovely and sunny and everyone is out enjoying it but I?m just SORE, BLOTCHY AND TIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don?t like to be grumpy round those who give me so much love and support so thought I?d post here instead. I know there's no real answer and I will probably wake up one day soon feeling more chirpy but in the mean time I?m just so frustrated about feeling rough and not being able to have a ?normal? life. My little sis is just buying her first house while I?ve had to move back home ?cos of all this so guess that?s eating at me abit!!! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/umm.gif

Hope anyone who reads this is more chirpy than me!!

Love Rachel

Rachel,

It's good to come here and vent. I too have those days and lately more often than not. I call it hitting a brick wall. You'll be cruizin' along doin' ok then WHAM! there's that unpredictable brick wall popping up in front of you again and usually right when you especially NEED to get things done, or as you point out, the sun FINALLY shows itself and everyone is out accompishing great things in the yard or just out playng and having fun whilst you're in the house in the recliner on the heating pad feeling like death warmed over.

It is truly madening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And it's NOT FAIR!!!!!!!! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hissy1.gif

So just know you are not alone. Next time you have a day like that, just picture me pouting in my recliner having the same kind of day and you maybe won't feel so alone in it all.

Also remember there's always better days ahead.

Take Care,
Be Well and keep posting

Funny that you should mention chocolate, I had my fair share and more last night!!!!
This forum is great and I really appreciate all the support I get from it, don't know what I?d do without it.
Just feeling weepy today so guess all I can do is let it out and hope for better days ahead style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/worried.gif

Rachel,

I am glad that you came and vented here. Much better to get it out in the open that keep it bottled up inside.
All of your feelings are completely normal considering the circumstances. I still get down, at times, not being able to go out and enjoy the sunshine. I will say it doesn't happen all the time anymroe just occasionally.

Let us know how you get on.

I feel totally the same way. It stinks. You want to be out there doing everything you see everyone else doing and enjoying and you can't. You feel sick and you are tired. You just lay there. And then feel bad about the whole thing.

Last night I was feeling bad thinking the same thing. I am 35, I have to lay down and rest when everyone else my age is staying up going here and there. It does get to you. Then there are better days. So lets hope the better days are around the corner.

Hope you feel better.

It does feel like life is passing us by sometimes. I try to do like Teri and look for the little accomplishments. When I can't think of any my hubby is sure to come up with one. To him taking one less nap a day or finally being able to stand on one foot for 30 seconds is a big deal. When I'm really low I'll rent a chick flick, really get into it, and let myself cry. Just getting the emotions out helps. Of course your junk food of choice, mine is chocolate, helps drown the sorrows too.

Let your sister know how you feel. Maybe she will let you help with some ideas for the new house.

Take care,
Lazylegs

Hi Rachel

Sorry you have been feeling low style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hugbetter.gif

I personally don't like the sun so I can't fully understand you must be feeling, I prefer the wind, rain, thunder and lightning style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/woohoo.gif .

So you are not alone, I wont be going out in the sun at all so will send what sunny vibes I have over to you, take care

Love and lots of hugs
Jules
