HI every1 just got back off my hols (been to Greece for two weeks) wore my big floppy hats and spf 60, off for a spray tan in an hour so that every1 nos ive been on hol.
Anyway came back to my results from my MRI - they found something - a brain style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
no on a more serious note the letter said it shows a slight abnormality of the drainage of the blood from the left temporal lobe: not sure what it all means like it just says that i have now got to go for another MRI with an injection of dye for it to be investigated further - great present to come back to but hey at least im all relaxed etc - for the mo anyway
bye for now

Hi Loz, at least you have had a lovely holiday.....spray tan....I had one last week but it hasn't taken on my legs and they said it could be as a result of some of the meds I am on.....they could be just trying to get themselves out of a corner but it will be interesting to hear how your tan takes xxxxhazel

Hi Loz style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/flowers.gif
Glad you enjoyed the hols. Sorry about the MRI result. Heres hoping it is something that can be 'fixed' with the least possible discomfort or intrusion, eh? Let us know how you get on.
On a lighter note....Happy Birthday Again! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/flowers.gif

Hello there.
How was your trip to Greece. It must have been breathtaking.
I don't know what your results mean but I am sure the next testing will show more about it. I would have asked what it meant or could mean? Maybe they could explain a little better.
Good luck with your further testing and I hope that everything turns out ok.

HI Loz,
I am glad you had a nice holiday in Greece. At least you didn't have the MRI results before your trip. Is that the way it is normally done in the UK? Mailing the patient the test results? I do hope you can have a doctor explain them to you very soon. I get aggravated anytime I hear of a patient who sees or hears their test results before a doctor is available to explain them. I know patients get their blood test results all too often IMO here in america. I also hope your MRA will be done quickly.
Let me know how your spray tan works. I have been tempted to get a new kind of lotion with a tint in it, the ads say you gradually add color over a period of time.
Take care,
Karen

HI every1
went for my spray tan, it looks really good, every1 has been saying youv got a nice tan from your holiday (even tho i have already told them loads of times that i cant go in the sun - do they think im lying) but i just say thanks and leave it at that, cant be bothered to go thru all the - you know i cant sunbathe iv had a spray tan palava.
It looks like i received my letter on about the 10th june and still havent heard anything from them, yes thats how i usually receive my results - well sometimes i dont receive any at all and have to wait about 3 months till i next see the dr, it would be nice to know them even if they think theres no point because they are ok, id like to no all the same just to stop me worrying and wondering
thanks for all your replies

Hi loz
It sounds as if you had a great time and I am glad you managed the sun business so well - good for you !
I have to laugh about the spray tan and all ! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
Not at all amusing about the MRI and I am sure you will need to fight being worried. I am surprised they don't sent the results to your GP who might be able to explain a little further.
I hope you can find plenty to keep your mind off it and try to feel constructive - you should know better what's going on and how it can be dealt with.
Hugs
Clare

I got a question.
Your SPRAY TAN, did you do this with the professional that you stand there and they spray you?
Ok, that may be a stupid question, but there are places here and I thought of doing it, but someone said that it was streaky, came off in 2 weeks, and pricy. If you know what I am talking about let me know how was it. If you weren't even talking about this kind of spray, forget about me !!

HI every1
im not impressed, just rung the MRI place up to tell them i wud be on hold for a week in august so dont book me in for an appointment then and she said oh ur not coming till about novemeber, im like what!!!!! i paid to go private for my last MRI so got in quick, im wondering if this appointment is the one from the last MRI i was supposed to have on the NHS or if i really have got to wait till novermber worrying etc what is wrong!
(Hellos)
yes i did stand ther and have some1 spray me, it hasnt streeked on me but i think it depends who does it for you, some are better than others, i have had quite a few since my dx and no sun and can only say i ever been dissappointed in 1, it can be expensive but you have to shop around, there is quite a difference in prices, it doesnt last that long but its nice for a special ocasion - or like me just to show every1 iv been on hol. im just to idle to do the fake tan myslef - and id probably mess it up
thanks for listening to me moan
