Finally some good news ......

I got told today by my boss that I could have unlimited paid sick leave, which is amazing as I have a lot more treatment coming up one way and another. Probably another 2 admissions to hospital over the next month, plus of course I am having regular cytoxan which doesn't always happen at the same time.

I have always pushed myself really hard to get into work and do my hours, and of course I will continue to do this. I was just going to use my holiday pay for all this treatment, so it's really cool that I will still get some proper holidays.

That has already given me extra sick leave, but I am really blown away by this !

Its great that he is giving you some sick days!! Its bad when you have to use vacation days when you're sick.. I know I did that lots when I was working. We only got 6 paid sick days a year and I was sick lots more than that. After 25 years with company I got 6 weeks vacation so I had to use those days so I would get paid. Bad enough to be sick all the time, but worse if you don't get paid when you're out.
