Hi everybody, havnt been on for a while things gone a bit silly. Just found out Im going to be a granny 2 times over , I spent years trying to get my son and daughter to do things together...well they have finally done it both of then are expecting babies my son's girlfriend in november and my daughter in Janruary.
I think this is good news although making be a granny at 42 im not sure about.
We have also been told that my Dad has terminal cancer at 76 and never been ill before so iv been spending alot of time in Ireland with him, hence not been on for a while.

Last weekend i had a big scare I started palpatating on friday night for no apparent reason and it continued all weekend. Went to the doc on monday and have been referred to the cardiologist , doc thinks there is a problem with ecg and says I have angina symptoms. She could not decide whether to make appointment or send me straight to hospital so we settled for appointment on the condition that if it got as bad as last sunday I would go straight to A+E. It hasnt been so bad but it is constantly pounding and just seems to be beating too fast.
I had a ECG stress test 2 weeks ago and should get the results on friday but because im getting pain whne i walk she says I have angina and has given me GN spray to carry with me.
Im finding all this very scary, joint pain I can cope with but the heart is a different matter and I cant say that I am lookinf foward to friday.

Hi Katie

I am sorry about the heart troubles but glad you have a GP who looks after you.

Congratulations on your upcoming grandparenthood. You have a wry sense of humour there- they took your words to heart but not the way you meant - typical of kids !

Good Luck for Friday they can do so much these days - hopefully it's not something that can't be managed easily

Please let us know when you can

Hugs

Clare
