Hi there all style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bigsmile.gif
I am eating my words! I was sooo apprehensive yesterday when me and hubby went to pain clinic but I have to say we both came out of there feeling good.
The psychologist was listening to me and explianing about how if I have a lot of stress then I can not focus on the pain programme, she said that she wants to see me within the year and in the meantime to do one small arm exercise a day and one small leg excercise. she said to give myself 6 months 'time off' and that the pain clinic door is OPEN for me. She was realistic and said that they could not take the pain away but can support in managing it, I really appreciated that honesty cos I must admit I was thinking ( style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doh.gif ) that they would do something like give me medication to help take the pain away.
So........................ i was happy with the appointment cos she LISTENED to me, UNDERSTOOD where I was coming from with the frustration etc and best of all THE DOOR IS OPEN FOR ME! I thought that door had been slammed shut in my face and locked and bolted after I saw that consultant there last time but the psych has opened it and given me hope style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif
Love, hugs and sending loads of pain free vibes to everyone and thank you all again for your support style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/foryou.gif
