i have read the factsheet about lupies being photosensitive but i was wondering if there was any other ways to avoid getting completely toasted out in the sun without slapping on buckets of factor 50+ suncream as i find its becoming quite a problem seeing as i have really pale skin anyway and cant go out in summer coz i could get a rash like i did last time.

thanx for your help

Hey i don't know how much you people know about sunblock spf 70 but it works like a charm. It's for people who have skin cancer and it can be prescribed by a doctor. I put that sunblock on and haven't rashed out in ages... So try it!...:wink2: ;)

Sorry but the only way I've found to cope is by slapping on gallons of factor 50+ sun block, which i get prescribed by my doctor, so I look like a ghost. I only use factor 50 twice during the day and top it up with factor 30. I use factor 50 first thing on a morning and about 1pm and top it up every couple of hours with factor 30. Sorry, and I agree, lupus sucks!
