:eek: well i have had a bone density scan and now have to go for radioactive bone scan, i shall be injected with dye,go away for four hours, then return for the scan, i am to avoid close contact with children and pregnant women,my son wants to see if he stands me at the bottom of the garden will i glow in the dark.:lol: i was told by a doc that from what he could make out the bone density scan looked ok(he was eye doc) so still not sure why or what is going on at the moment, is it just routine check or did the bone density show something. i wont get over worried thats just not good, it takes place this coming friday. wishing you all well. thanks ladies and gents.

Hi:

I Just had the test done. It shows inflamation inn the bones and joints. It showed a rib I had fractured about 2 months ago and didn't even know.

It will help the Dr determine if your inflammation in damaging the joints or is just soft tissue.

Nothing to be scared of.
