any good clinics/doc in VA/MD

I live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia & am willing to travel to the Northern VA/DC area as well as North Carolina for a good doc. Any info regarding UVA/Duke/Hopkins...any personal experiences?

you did not say weather you have sle or not. but i live in northern virginia ... i have a great doctor but i dont believe i am allowed to say his name.

maybe look in the yellow pages on line, using the criteria of rheumotolgist in say falls church,

I live in maryland i found a great rheumy someone referred me to in Clinton maryland. They got me walking again and almost back to normal in one month. I have lupus, fibromyalgia and 2 slipped disks in lower back.

Be very careful about the referral you may get from LFA. I had a HORRID experience with their only listed rheumy. No names, but he's been reported to the AMA since.

I can't give out my rheumy's name, but she and her partner are in Williamsburg, McLaws Circle. Quite worth the 25 minute drive from the Hampton Roads area! I saw seven rheumys from VaBeach/Norfolk to Newport News and points in between before finding my gem!

There are several people on here from the DC area . You can send them a private email or pm telling them your memebers on here what the Dr's name . If I am wrong please let me know . Be sure to ask do they treat LUPUS if you get the number from someone who doesn't know the Dr .
