Ingredients for "Ginger soup"
Grated fresh ginger -2 Tablespoons
Stock or water - 4 cups
Salt - 0.75 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1 Tablespoon, toasted
Black pepper - 0.5 teaspoon
Juice of one lemon
Fresh coriander leaves
Method for "Ginger soup" Put grated ginger and stock into a pot. Bring to a boil. Heat on low heat for 30 minutes till the water has reduced by half. Add salt, cumin and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes. Squeeze in lemon juice & garnish with coriander. Serve hot.
