Hi, my name is Paul & was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus when I was 12 years old, although I remember getting "growing pains" earlier then that. I used to belong to the local Lupus group but did not have much involvment.
Have not been to good recently and just felt like talking to others in the same possition as myself.Forgive the spelling...:)

This site is fab!!! I joined yesterday loads and loads of info...
keep your chin up and think now is now but in half an hour or tommorrow it may well be different...You sound like a real positive soul and in my personal experience positive thoughts always save the day...I had a migraine at 3 this morning and believe me I had to dig deep to find some but its the only way for mexxx

Welome Paul so glad you have came to this site. I have never found a site like this. Everyone is so kind and so informative about things I would have never known about.

I would love to find a Lupus support group in my area but there is none that I know of.

Welcome aboard. SLE was my diagnosis too though this interesting disease has so many different manifestations - all miserable - that we may have very different problems yet my bet is that they are all painful. Sorry you are having a rough patch. Hope it passes soon. I am rejoicing in not having any agonizing pain for over two weeks. It is a great break. The folks here are supportive and kind. And they all know what we are talking/complaining/
rejoicing about.
