burning finger tips

The last few weeks Im had the weirdest thing happen.. the tips of my fingers will suddenly feel like they're on FIRE.. almost as if I have frost bite.... they'll feel really hot and thingy like I was out in crazy cold weather and suddenly came into the warmth... the doctor said it could be a reaction to my meds and that I need to keep an eye out for a change in colour of my fingers because it could be the circulation.. but nothing changes,,,,

Yesterday I noticed that my nails are looking burnt.. as if I had been wearing the fake acyrlic nails and tore them off myself.... its so strange..

Anyone have anything similar??

Ive had a similar experience a while back where one of my fingers (the area just below the fingernails) felt like they were burning. It just happened out of the blue and probably happened once every few months. This went on for about half an hour. I just put some vasaline on it (not sure if it did anything though) and it was all red after the sensation stopped. It hasnt happened for a while and I dont think that its anything to be worried about. But yeah its better to check with your docs. :)

Thanks for your reply. It's happening almost daily now so it does worry me and it seems to happen a few hours after taking my cellcept (which is strange since I've been on it for almost a year now and didn't have that reaction until I was also just put on Neoral...
