I started my new dream job last monday, and am having serious doubts on wether i can cope its only 4 days a week 9 til 2 but im so tired afterwards.
Citalopram isnt helping with mood swings at all. mind is a bit clearer but body is failing to live up to my expectations
my blurred vision is getting worse even with my glasses, muscle spasms/twitches are hurting and downright scary, stomach problems( constipation one day diarrhea the next)
I just want to lie down all the time, I wake up in the mornings feeling like Ive been running a marathon
I really need/want to work but everything seems like such a chore
Im always close to tears (theres only so many times i can say theres something in my eye)
i feel really lousy

I know what you are going through I used to do 3 full days a week and it wiped me out for months before I finally got used to it and started to relax and enjoy it, (which probably made the difference).
Keep on going it will get easier, good luck.

Harle.
I am sorry that you are feeling unwell. When was the last time you were seen by your doctor? Maybe something you are taking isn't agreeing with you and it would be worth checking it out?
I know some days I just drop after work. I know how you feel. Some days it is very hard.
Everyone is different and has different medical issues. If you are unable to work and are getting worse then I think you need to see the doctor. Your health comes first.
Maybe you need to be taking a different kind of medicine?
I hope that you feel better and I'll be praying for you.
Let me know how you are doing.

It's always hard at first - there's so much to get used to and absorb and you are probably putting a lot into it to make good impressions.
Maybe ask about a change of anti dep ?
All the best

Hi Harlequeen,
I am risking being labeled "Mr. Tegretol" by mentioning this drug again,
but it is effective on moodswings (emotional lability), spasm, twitching (myoclonus), and frequently losing concentration (cognitive dysfunction).
I don't think that anti-depressants can improve your motor problems (spasms/twitching), but Tegretol/Carbamazepine can. If you blurred vision is due to "short circuiting" in your oculomotor nerves, then again Tegretol can help, (it is used to treat shorting cranial nerves, most commonly trigeminal neuralgia).
