Hair not growing

I've noticed that my armpit hair is not growing at all anymore and my leg hair is very sparse and I hardly ever have to shave. Has this happened to anyone else? I am taking Prednisone (10 mg), Plaquenil, and Imuran

I've had several changes with growth in body hair and head hair since being diagnosed 18 months ago. First off it fell out drastically and I had no leg or armpit hair..then it all grew back and just recently body hair has started to get thin again. When I asked the doc they seemed to think it was to do with the illness and not the meds but who knows! At my age it could also be my hormones!!

I am similar to Linda, before my disease was under better control that was happening, now it's much improved and I have to shave again :mad: :lol:

I have to say that I too do not have to shave as often as I used to. I know as people age, the hair growth slows down. With that in mind, I didn't know if my body was just telling me I was old, if it was the Lupus. I would rather say it was the Lupus as I do not feel old:hehe:
