very painfull ankles

hello everyone
my ankles hurt so bad.it feels like someone cut my feet off and made me stand on my ankles i don't know what to do.and also my pelvic bones hurt. does any one else have this problem and what do you do to ease the pain?

Joint pain is very common in people with lupus. If your rheumatologist or general practitioner won't adequately treat your pain, then you might want to ask for a referral to a pain specialist doctor, a doc of anesthesiology with additional training in symptom control.

They are not just for people at death's door. They are for people with chronic pain, the kind of pain we have with lupus.

If you haven't told your doc about these difficulties, it would be worth its own appointment to have a consultation. I wish you the best!
