Welcome to the Forum SPAM
This website should be some help and there is a couple of others in the pinned posts at the top of this section.
http://www.bhas.org.uk/freeguides/dla_guides.shtml
If you read through earlier posts you can get some ideas too.
The thing is not to underestimate what you can't do- funnily enough that is the tendency because it's often upsetting to realise your limitations.
I hope that someone with personal experience will respond and don't hesitate to get back to us with any specific questions.
Do you have lupus just out of interest ?
Bye for now ! :)

You must fill this out based on your worst day, i know where ouyr commi ng from RE/ the not watning to get something your not entitled to,
and it doesnt matter if you work either, its based on your illness (disability) don't sell your self short either, as i did, because i was feeling gulilty ,yes i did get it, low rate, and yes they do write to your consultant and gp..............

Hello Spam, I agree; the worst day you've ever had is the one they need to hear about. That's what the money is actually for. I've applied 2 times now, 1 for my ex, and for my son. The Drs told me to describe their worst symptoms and we got it each time. They do know you will have good days hon. They just have to know how bad it can get for you. That's what they base the level of payment on most times.
Good luck! :)

Hi SPAM
I have just received my forms to reapply for DLA. All I can say is that you must fill in the form as if you were describing your worse day. When I initially applied I took the forms to Citizens Advice and the lady there told me to mention every little detail. The previous replies are correct when they tell you to answer it based on your worse day. It can be an eye opener when you see the answers as it bring it home to you.
Good luck......Janine:rotfl:
