The only thing that I can add to Lily's post is to be careful of black cohosh if you are on immune suppressant drugs. I found this out the hard way. Wish I could remember where I saw the article reporting this problem associated with black cohosh but my mind just doesn't keep information like it used to.

It would be best if you want to use herbs, to do your research on each one as new problems and helps are discovered everyday.

There are so many different herbs on the market today that it can make your head spin. The two main ones that I avoid like the plague are the Black Cohish and Green Tea. If you are on a blood thinner and you are drinking Green Tea, it cause your blood to thin out a little more thus causing problems in getting your Coumadin regulated.

Not only are there certain herbs that we need to avoid, but also foods and beverages that can cause us poblems with out meds.
