Hi :) I wrote in here a short while ago and you were all great.
The rash is coming back so I called a clinic where I live and got an appointment to see a specialist next month.
I am aware that you are not supposed to mention any concern about specific diseases when talking to a doctor. What about symptoms  Should I only show him the rash or do I also mention the raynaud´s (diagnosed by a GP), joint pain (which really isn´t bad right now) migraine, high blood pressure... Or would he ask of other symptoms if he thought something else could be relevant?
What is appropriate? What was done the first time you were seen by a dermy?

Hi Raud:)

I havent seen a dermy for any Lupus rashes yet so maybe someone else with specific information will be along shortly to help you.

As for the generalities...Definitely tell your dermy about any diagnosis you have (such as Raynauds). Also tell him about your symptoms (thats not the same as diagnosing yourself). In my opinion they should be asking you questions which would enable you discuss your symptoms but if they dont make sure that you have your list of symptoms with you and tell them that you dont know if they are related in any way but that you wanted him to have the full picture just in case.

Best of luck with the appointment and if I were you I would take a few pictures of the rash just in case it has disappeared (or considerably lessened) by next month!

Luv n stuff
