Hello
I haven't been on for a while because the pain and restrictions have been getting to me.
I saw the Rheumy today, more blood tests last week. I saw him last one month back and he said, lets see where this goes and how painful it gets. I could have bricked his windows many times, Although my sister says I would never have lifted, let alone thrown the brick.
Today he diagnoses RA. I have my predisinone to start tonight. 2 months ago I had told my GP, I don't like the thought of cortisone treatment, tonoght I welcome those little pills with open mouth. Just hoping the side effects are few.
I see him again in a month, unless the pills do not start working within a few days, then it is back to him for injections. He said in a monthe he will see if anything else has developed.
It is a huge step - well the knees won't allow a huge step, but it is a step forward.
