Yes. My wrists are dreadful most of the time. I don't have any really good suggestions I'm afraid, except to get yourself some industrial strength wrist braces.

Hi Vikki :hugbetter:

Are you on any anti-inflammatories or any treatment for your symptoms?

I find that Naprosyn really helped me a lot whilst I was waiting for diagnosis, but there are lots of other anti-inflammatory meds your doc could prescribe for you. I also found that hot packs helped or if that wasnt practical then rubbing linament (something like tiger balm) helped. Others find that cold packs help, things like a packet of frozen peas, however I get Raynauds and the heat seemed to help me more.

Have you seen a Rheumatologist yet Vikki? I know you said you were tested 5 yrs ago and the tests were inconclusive and that your doc was no help. Perhaps if you tell us a little more about your symptoms and what blood tests were done and the results, we can try and help you a little more?

sending hugs,

love
Lily

I have had lupus symptoms since I was 12, diagnosed at 21 but ignored the docs because i thought at that time i was to young to have it. But I am now 34 and suffering from an episode. My wrists hurt every day and sometimes they are to weak to even pick up a coffee cup. Get checked out for carpal tunnel if it continues. Do your hands fall asleep alot? Good luck. I am seeing the rhume end of november to see if they can do anything for me.
