yes Lili I get this often, it appears then disappears as quick as it came, all i can say is ride with it and with luck with it go soon for you
It sometimes feels like I am carrying an invisible back pack and then it moves around to the rib cage not nice at all....
I hope you feel better soon

Hi, Melissa! ;)
You don't say anything about things associated with this debilitating pain. Is it worse when you breathe in or out? Does it seem like it's in the muscles or more inside the body? Does activity or exercise or room temperature seem to bring it on or maybe decrease your pain?
These factors are important. If this continues for more than a week or ten days, I think you'd do well to call your doc for evaluation. Symptoms that interfere with daily activities need to be checked out when they don't resolve in a reasonable time period.
It's possible that something simple could correct this and you're worth the effort to get the information. Even if it takes more medicine or therapy or whatever, you deserve to know what you're dealing with. If it resolves and returns, you'll also know next time what steps to take in caring for yourself.
I wish you well! The pain sounds absolutely awful.

Hi..melissa...:(..i get this..it feels like muscle ache and i can breath ok...jane
For me it's a muscle that runs down and along side my shoulder blade. It can get inflamed so bad the pain will go down my arm. I use ice for 20 minutes to calm down the inflamation, then heat to increase the blood flow again. I also have exercises that I do that help me get over this. It's screamingly painful at it's worse on me. I can catch it early enough now that I can nip it in the bud. I don't know if this is going on in your case but you can try the ice/heat to see if it helps. I wouldn't let it go to long before you see a doctor if it continues.
