Shoot. I was really hoping it'd be a long time or never until this happened again. My poor paws. :(

I started to feel some tingling in my palms a couple days ago...then some pain and itching. Now they are turning fire engine red, are really hot and sore, and my pinkie fingertips are just throbbing away...I can see little blood vessels in there that are swollen and blue.
I can just see the blisters starting to pop up.
It's painful to do ANYTHING. I can't even pick things up or twist a cap off a bottle without being in agony.
Just totally figures this waited to happen until AFTER my rheumy appt.
Although she was such a weiner, she probably wouldn't have cared.
And I'm supposed to go meet a friend tomorrow.
Friggin' Lupus.

hi i'm netty,

Just wanted to say how sorry i am that your suffering in this way. Can you not go to see your GP or ring your rheumy and ask for some treatment. Take a photo of your hands so that you have evidence at your next appointment too as like you i find that on those oh so important visits to the specialists alot of the symptoms go into hiding!!!!

Good luck and i hope you feel better soon!

Take care
Netty from devon uk! xxxxxx

Better go to a doctor (ER if necessary) to get this "documented". Every bit of documentation helps you get the final official diagnosis. Also, better get there for pain control as well - it sounds awful! Hope you find a new, good GP soon.
