Pernicious Anaemia Society and Symptoms

If any of you suffer from Pernicious Anaemia like myself. I found a great site for it. Also worth Anyone looking at. I went many many years before my Dx of Pernicious Anaemia, new G.P (who listens ) and a simple blood test. I have been having 12 weekly injections of B12 around 2 years now.

Your welcome Pauline. My main problems before the Dx with this, was tingling 24/7 in hands and feet and my depression was worse.

I don't have Pernicious Anaemia but checked out the site as I didn't really know much about it.

Wow! 12 weekly injections, I hope they are helping you to feel better.

Thanks Sheila for the thread. It looks very interesting and I will have a good read. Like you Sheila I was having symptoms of the pernicious anaemia for many years before a doctor did a simple test which threw it up. The injections have made such a difference to me.

Ann, it is surprising. For years it was blamed on my lupus...why do they blame it for everything. The injections make such a big difference.

If any of you girls have the symptoms on the link, its worth asking about it. don't suffer
