Hi...:hehe:...hope you well....can someone tell me a little about this 'discoid eczema' please....as gp says i have this on the bottom half of my palms...:worried:...iv had it an age now...:eek:..i have actually had it on my shines for years...only not so bad....as some of you know...it wont go...no matter how many creams/gloves i put on..rube in...spray on...you name it..weve done it..phew....:huh::blink:...any ideas..many thanks..cutting my hands off isnt an option...jane

Jane heres a link on Discoid Eczema, it seems similair to Discoid Lupus, which I also have along with sle and scle.

Jane says mine is Discoid Lupus and answer is No :( they usually treat it with meds. Pred and Plaq, are you on either?

Hi...sheila..yes i have been on 400 plaq since april this year....things seem to be getting worse in some aspects but not others?...if you know what i mean...;)...my skin...is worse...back ache is something i dont get..but do now..headaches are ok on plaq...aches arent too bad on plaq..infections like ear/chest/throat are better on plaq....tiredness is better..too a point..i still go to bed at 9pm and read..:lol:...i have face mask now?!!..i have the other skin rashes on my hands now...so... some things have been put under control,also i get chest pains/tighness..also really forgetful... my hair was getting thin and had stopped due to the plaq..now its doing it again,so these are playing up again....while others have dis / or / appeared:umm:..i like these little 'smiles' heehee...so thats why i am going back to rhuemy on 13th dec...too see what he can do...hmmmm

Jane all the best with your appointment. If you have a camera take some pictures of your rashes, just incase they gone before your appointment, that way you can show your rheum was been going on
