Baked Beans

Does anyone have a good recipe for making baked beans with no pork?

I cook my beans in a crockpot:
pork and beans ( Van Camp drain the juice)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 can tomatoe paste or sauce( I like paste better)
1 onoin chopped
1/3 cup of molasses
polish sausage
option liquid smoke 1-3 dashes depend on taste wait for at least 1/2 hour to add more the flavor gets better or stronger.
1 green peper cut in slices last 1/2 hour
then simmer in crock pot intil your ready to enjoy
sometimes the beans will dryjup add a little tomatoe suce if this happens

You can add any type of meat but this the one we like
