Got my answers re: my miscarriages

Hi girls....well i went to see my Rhuemy....and i think i had mentioned here that he did not believe that my lupus or aps caused any of my m/c's :rolleyes: He said i looked fine....and felt fine so he was not worried at all about me trying again....and he would never encourage ttc if he thought i was ill. He also said "you've had 3 children with no problems" He kept saying my numbers etc are normal for someone with lupus...they werent dangerously high and didnt worry him...well i was back to square 1! I thought.

So i go to my RE...and tell him what my dr. says....then i ask my RE if we could over my DH's S/A....from last year.....well he looks at it and says "oh its not very good" :mad:

So now i know why i'm m/c'ing!!!!!!!!!!! His morphology is really bad!!!! The dr. said he only had 1 good sperm in every 100.....WTF???!!!! Why the **** wouldnt my dr. have told me this last freakin year??????????????? I wouldn't of tried until his sample was better or would have went straight to IUI. Well i guess i have to look at it like ..now i know...but damn..those m/c's were so hard on me.....i would have rather waited and not gotten pg then to get pg and lose it.

But i thought i'd update you all on this.

It is so frustrating when results of tests are not explained to patients in a timely manner, especially when they result in something as emotionally devestating as a miscarriage. I hope something works out for you in the future should you decide to try again, perhaps with the help of the reproductive specialist?

Did the doctor suggest anything could be done to help?

Cath....well i've upped dh's vitamins...giving him lots of vitamin C, zinc, selenium, b12.....and gonna start him on another on Friday....then next week do another sample. then we will go from there. He was a smoker and has quit...so really hoping that helps....if the vitamins etc dont help...then its on to IUI. :worried:
