Hi, does anyone know, if when loweing your prednislone, can do.

Meaning my rhemy said to me 2 weeks ago, that i can start to lower but if any new symptoms appear, go back up,

Well i dont want to give in to quick, if you get me, But i have reduced another half mg last week, and 6 days latre i have started to feel quite dizzy falling only once,, reducing from 7mg to 5 now, by half a time.,over 4 months...

What i'm asking could this be to do with reducing,?? i know your not dr's i will ask, when i go dr's, but just wanted to know, becuse me being me i will just keep lowering, just to get down to 5mg,

I just though half mg a time wouldnt course symptoms surely?

Lin I have never had this problem when they trying to lower my pred. I am now done to 8mg...but looks like they have to up it again, got the aching joints back and the rashes. I think it be worth while paying your G.P a visit. I don't reduce as quickly as you, only as My Rheum for me says only reduce 1mg every 2 months, when you been on it along time. Every rheum works different. Hope you get this sorted soon.

Hi Lin,

I didn't have any major problems coming off the pred, so I can't help you there.

I think it would be a good idea to ask the doc, like Sheila said. I hope you figure this out soon. If you are falling this is not a good sign and, in my opinion, should be investigated anyway.

No sheila i am reducing 1/2 mg every two month, sorry.

Thanks going dr's tomorrow , beeen weird off and on, could be a migraine thats different than i have ever had i surpose, blooming symptoms, god i hate weidr stuff going on........ but its been scarey today.
