its been to long. this is regarding my cns. I was wondering if anyone else has had this I have a history of siezures, tics, etc. but this is totally draining me, the last week & now mor e often, if i am standing, sitting no mater the position I feel as if i am constantly moving and very fast, like a strobe light. When i walk foward my body feels like its taking one step forward then one back. but its really not. when i blink, my head feels like electrical vibrations. there is more but cant explain feeling its just totally draining me its so frustrating , (which we all know about) but i get so confused and whacky, i have been crying and dont no why.Maybe a big flare again. I visit my rhuemy tomorow. & apt for the nuero on fri. but
my kids want me to see if i can get in tomorrow. well let me know if any one else has ever had this. i promise i will be on tommorrow. really miss talking to everyone. thanks for listening

Hi Deb,

I've had the buzzing but not the speed or false sense of motion. Please keep us posted on how tomorrow turns out..

it's good that you are seeing both doctors this week, it sounds like you need to. I had something vaguely similar once many years ago while in hospital - I could not control my body very well, and (for example) if I reached out for a cup of tea my arm would reach out, retract, reach out, retract several times over before I could actually take the cup. Actually by the time my arm stopped jerking around I would usually have knocked the cup to kingdom come, very frustrating. It was really weird, was happening to my whole body when I tried to do anything and fortunately only lasted a few days.

With lupus it can be really hard to know what is happening sometimes or why, but the important thing is that you are going to be seeing the right sort of doctors over the next couple of days. Maybe a call from your rheumie would get you into the neuro faster, \\

feel better soon

Hi Deb, It kinda sounds you memory is going. Or is it something else that you woouls call it. If it is what you and Raglet would call
memory problems, forgetting where you put things, or why you
are going where you are going, then Deb, I would like to hear what the dr. says. My memory is really scaring me, and my hubby thinks that (maybe) I am going loony. Please let me know, thanks.

Hi Deb,

I have that one step forward one step back thing. My doctor called it ataxia. She says the brain sends the message but it is slow to get to the limb, meanwhile the next message is on the way. It makes the body overcompensate so you don't fall. To me it feels like a ricochet. If it happens too many times in a row I get dizzy.

Good luck with your appointments. I hope they can help you. Let us know what they say.

Take care,
Lazylegs

((((((((((((Deb))))))))))))) :( ughhhh not fair, this certainly sounds like a flare-up of your CNS stuff :(

I've had some bizarre stuff, not exactly the same but very similar, and who knows why but it wasnt nice to deal with. I'm so glad you are seeing both your Rheum and Neuro, the timing is perfect for once and I hope they sort you out this week.

Sending hugs, its nice to see you back but not under these circumstances ((((((((Deb))))))))) :hugbetter:

love
