Hello everyone!
I'm Amber if all of you don't know that yet. My "story" is posted in a blog and on the message board if you haven't seen it. It's a long one so if you'd like to hear it, and you can't find it on the board just ask me.

Anyway, i was just going to make sure my symptoms are the regular Lupus symptoms. Since i was 12, and diagnosed with Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis, i have had the same symptoms. I wake up stiff and i do not feel rested at all. I can barely get around for hours after getting out of bed.
I have constant headaches and depression. I have alot of mental problems. They are so bad i have actually been institutionalized for them.
I have scabs on my scalp and itchy head all the time.
My fingers swell to where i can't even get my engagement ring off.
I get the rash all over my body, swell up and get a fever.
Heat flashes are very common with me, but i also just gave birth to my son 9 months ago so that is a big part of that symptom.
My feet and knees go numb alot. I get ulsers in my mouth constantly. Calcium deposits on my teeth, they look and feel horrible! My nails are thin and cannot grow worth a crap. I have horrible eyesight as it is, but my eyesight goes blurry alot. Dry eyes, also. I get lock jaw alot.

ACNE!!OMG!!haa. Pains in my stomach, side cramps, stomach aches, heart pains, breathing problems, lung pain and sore throat. . . Sunburn(ihad a third degree burn this summer and was hospitalized and bandaged for it.)

Fatigue umm, moodswings like crazy! I shake alot and i get hungry all the time.

Well, i am sure there are more but i have to be getting to bed and fake my nightly rest so . . . let me know what symptoms all of you don't have that i just listed.

Also keep in mind i have Lupus to the fullest. So, don't get worried if you don't have some of these. You probably won't get them if you have already been diagnosed.
I am a 6 year Lupus patient. . . boohoo! 8)
Anyway, thanks mucho!:wink2:

Hi Amber and welcome,

Yes it sounds fairly typical to me...........as much as typical fits someone with Lupus that is :wink2: We are all very different in how it affects us directly and the meds we take can confuse things too sometimes. A good doctor will work out which symptoms are from meds and which are directly from the Lupus itself and work out a personalised medication plan for you. What meds are you taking?

love
Lily
