Hello everyone,
Just a question. Recently I have been having trouble writing, walking, talking anything that is beyond laying down or sitting.:hehe: Nothing seems to work they way I want it to. I forget how to write or even spell. My walking has gotten clumsy, like the floor is moving. I was wondering if anybody had something similiar going on? My memory is pretty bad also. I am sure alot of it is the fog in my head. I feel like the crazy lady. Please Help.

Hi Barbie
You have been troubled by such symptoms since at least last year.
You also wrote that you haven't had medical care since 1995 and have been self treating.
Maybe I missed later posts and you have since seen a doctor and started on meds but even so, I think you're so ill, you urgently need to see one now to try to get to the bottom of this
It must be very frightening - best of luck

Hi Barbie,
I am going to chime in and say seek medical attention now. It is better to catch these things when they are first starting so they have a chance to be turned around.
Now to answer your questions. Most likely you are not crazy. I have similar symptoms. The most prominent being the walking thing. It can be very unnerving and dangerous. Please take care, the last thing you need is a broken bone on top of everything else.
Take care,
Lazylegs

Barbie,
Sorry to read that you are having a rough time of it right now.
I too have issues with remembering things, writing things, spelling, or even just searching for a certain word. I am educated and when I want a certain word to come out and something ignorant falls out of my mouth, then I feel totally stupid. Very frustrating!!!!
Anyway, if this is a new thing for you or it is worse, then by all means, talk to your doc and see if there is anything he might want to do.

Thank you all for your responses. I have applied for aide from the state so I can get some medical care. I think I have dealt with things a little too long. Clare clearly pointed that out to me, so thank you for that push. I do wish all of you well and will let you all know how things go.
Thanks again,
Barbie

Go,and tell your dr. I thought that I was going loco for the past month. Today was my dr.'s appt. and I told him how I have been feeling like I don't think right, lost my balance, the same things as you, I toldhim that I thought that I needed something for my mind aas I thought that I was going crazy. We talked and he found out that it was one of my meds. the med had been prescribed for a normal size woman, and I am too small to be called'normal'
