is there any one else out there, there thigh goes numb when standing to long or driving to long. I am in the kitchen cooking and my thigh is numb it is not the first time this has happen i went to the er one time because of it and they told me i need to have back surgery. My doctors no i have back problems, but never address my concerns about this.Does anyone else have these problems.I think it is because i don't have good insurance.

And I am glad to anounce i do not have breast cancer. I fainally got my results back today.

I found a book "Living With Lupus" by Sheldon Paul Blau, M.D. and Dodi Schultz. In it they talked about inflamation (not arthritis) in the soft tissue around joints that can cause different symptoms. Can cause popped tendons in the wrist. I wonder if it could cause your symptoms. Ask your rheumy. I'm going to ask about my hip joint. Keeps me up all night aching and cramps somtimes when i'm walking or working which hurts so bad I have to stop and wait until it quits. LENAYAH
