Hello

I've not yet been diagnosed with lupus but have ME/CFS (Chronic fatigue syndrome). I'm bed bound and extremley disabled because of my over whelming exhaustion. I just wondered if the 'fatigue' with lupus is like this or is it milder?? And do people get it this bad?

Thanks in advance x

The fatigue of lupus can most definitely be that bad. For most people though, it isn't. Or at least it isn't that bad all the time, especially once treatment has begun that works! But even with proper treatment, fatigue can be a real issue for many of us.

Before I was treated for lupus, my fatigue was DEFINITELY that bad. Much improved now after sorting out the right medications for me.

Good luck, and I'm sorry you're feeling so bad.

First of all, i hate that you are feeling so bad. I can most definitely relate. My fatigue lately has been just horrible and has been trying to get the best of me. I am in the process of diagnosis and just began a medication this past week that I am hoping will help. I am hoping that thru the proper treatment I will be able to function better. Good luck to you. I agree with the others. See your doctor then form and begin a treatment plan.
