Early Menapause

HI, hope you are all well today

i have recently posted a thread because i am having problems with periods, and early menapuse has been brought up i did think it could be but brushed it aside (im only 30)

has anybody had early menapause or know anything about it?

i am really interested in what everyone else thinks.

My opinion is i think it could be possible as i may be going through it i get the hot flushes. and my periods seem to have gone from regular to every 3 months. have an appointment with rheumy so i will ask.

YOu can go to your GP and get a blood test for this, it will show if you are in the early stages.

Hi Sheryl

Yes your GP can do a simple hormone test to put your mind at ease on this one. It was me who mentioned the connection between early menopause and autoimmune disease on your other post.

i saw my rhuemy today and he has done a blood test to check my hormone levels he has also done an ANA test apparantly he hasnt done one for 4 years he thinks i am heading for a flare
