Hello everyone,
My youngest daughter who has diabetes type 1, had her 3 month check up yesterday .I wrote a list of problems that are still bothering her ,chest pain being at the top of the list.
The doctor found a heart murmur ,she also noticed that she has a goitre(which I've been mentioning for the last 2 years).
My daughter had a positive ANA with speckled pattern last year and saw a rheumy at a different hospital .The rheumy found that she had hypermobility (which the diabetes doctor denied) The rheumy wrote a letter to the diabetes doctor , asking her to test for ENA but the diabetes doctor said there was no need. My daughter also saw an eye specialist and was tested for dry eyes at that time (not the shirmers test,the one with the dye)result was that her eyes were drier than normal with pitting.
Yesterday ,after finding the goitre and heart murmur she was sent for an ecg , chest xray and bloodtests for ENA ,TPO antibodies Tsh,Ft4,CK.
The ecg request had grade 1 out of 6 ,ESM max LSM, luminescent murmur written on it.
Has anyone got a heart murmur,do you have to take special precautions?
My eldest daughter is being watched for lupus & APS by her paediatrician,we have to keep a daily temperature record and has recieved a referral for dermatology.She has many symptoms .
My eldest son is under the care of a neurologist because of a generalised seizure, but has many symptoms including the butterfly rash & hypermobility, he suffers severe hayfever(he rarely ventures out of his bedroom in the pollen season).We asked for a referral to a rheumy but was told his symptoms were psychological , so now he refuses to go to the doctors (he is 17)
My youngest son is still on a very restricted diet ,he is very allergic to most foods ,medicine,pollen,plants,his own sweat.etc He is asthmatic ,has eczema.
Me, I'm stressed to the max. Feel terrible, fatigued , constantly dizzy ,joint/ muscle pain etc ,etc, etc.
Okay ,I've stopped my moaning.
