Just wondering if anyone has had this

right above the knee cap I have swelling and at night it pops in and out and is painfull too

I have a tear in the other knee but in the meniscus area so I am not sure if this means I could have a tear in that area?

If anyone has that similar area would be glad to hear.

I cannot go to the docs, who will send me to ortho, then mri right now, not this week anyway.

Not sure if from lupus or something else all together.

My hubby has what you just described and that is exactly what happened he had mri and he now has to have knee surgery.
When everything settles down though, you need to have it looked at. Try ice and/or heat to the swollen area and what I mean by both some alternate the ice and then heat.

When it rains, it pours and I think you are due for some serious healthy sunshine that is good for us loopies.:sunny:
