Hi Deb,

I think I'd start by talking to your GP about this one, its not a symptom of CTD as a general rule, there could be many explanations. Your GP would run through the most obvious things first and then if he doesnt find anything you could mention it to your Rheumy.

deb, hi, I was like that, and at first, just took it for granted, and figured it was just another symptom. then it got worse much like yours, and I told my rheumy, he said it was a certain med, and that I could go off of it for a week and see then get back on it. I did, and he was right, it was just one of my meds, and I am so sorry, but it was so long ago that I do not remember what the med was. speak to your rheumy and I wish you goo news.

Is it part of UCTD or MCTD ?? -don't know but I sure got it ! :hehe:
I think it has to do with the muscle weakness for me - that comes and goes.

Hi pukekos, mine is uctd but i was tryin to not be too specific. So you don't think it has anything to do with your meds?

Hi Deb,

I have this problem as well, but have been told that it's not uncommon in women my age (struggling to stay this side of 50) that have had kids, etc.

I've been trying to do those darn keegles (sp) that they told me about when I got pregnant 20 years ago...

Whatever is causing it, you should tell your docs. My neurosusrgeon said mine (really) is from one of the nerves in my back being pinched.

So take care of you~

Hello,

I don't think it has to do with meds - more disease activity or tired level. If I have to use naproxen it sometimes happens but then I am using the naproxen because of disease activity lol
