Would someone out there please help me with what this might be?

My finger tips started to itch and I looked at them and noticed a few of my fingers had tiny white blister type things on them and as the itching continued I was seeing more of them appear on other finger tips!!! It was the strangest thing. My husband and I watched as more just "appeared" out of no-where? My knuckles on my hands started itching and were getting all red. It is not lasting long and some of it has already gone away. The little blister things are there but are not itching like they were? It even looks like one of them broke. How it can break I don't know because they so tiny. There is no fluid.

Has anyone had this happen or know what it could be from? I was at church and was in a room with the brighter lighting and it is also 80 degrees and sunny out today. I did feel somewhat jittery and light-headed/weak before all this happened. Could this all be from the lighting and sun? I wasn't even in the sun very long.

When new stuff like this happens it is scarey not knowing why it is happening or how long it will go on or worse yet, if it will continue and get worse. I know we are not doctors but if someone could let me know if this might be a lupus thing or maybe it is something else going on???

Thank you for letting me vent my nervousness onto you all. Usually I handle things fairly well but I am just getting over fighting the flu and I am tired of not feeling well right now and maybe I needed a little "3 P time" ! (personal pitty party) Thanks to those who listened (read) and thank you to anyone who can advise as to what would cause this. I am sure when my stomach is back to normal again the chocolate will help!

Thanks again,
Janice

I have no clue what it is...but just wanted to say I can relate!!! I get the same thing on my wrists from time to time.

They get so itchy...almost like a burning itch...and as I scratch little white pin prick spots appear. I've always thought they were hives or something...its been happening for about a year or 2 now.

Maybe someone here might know more.

Yes, I get these blisters, they are surprisingly painful I find. Mine break and take a while to heal. Have heard this from other lupies too.

:) Hi Janice, yep this is weird, and when I tell you what it is, you will be feeling silly. I had it happen to me the first time about 10 yrs. ago. I went to a dermatologist at the hospital where my rheumy teaches. She took one look and knew right away what it was. She had this very big long impressive name for it, and after I picked my jaw up off of the floor, I said what is it in english and what do I do for it. She said all they are are " worry bumps" so, she gave me some cream and told me to stop worring, and if I couldn't, to talk to my dr about my nerves. So smile, you are normal. :rotfl: :wink2:
