Hello Kelly,

I remember you from before, nice to see you back but sorry you are still having some problems.

Your doctor may decide to increase your Imuran dosage to help control the kidney issues if they are becoming a problem again. A lot of people are on 150mg. If that doesnt work then there is another medication called Cellcept (Myclophenate Mofatil) which is very good for Nephritis and wasnt used much when you first got sick. Its been used with good success the last decade.

We have one man here who has just had his kidney problem return and had another lot of cytoxan (which is what you had first time around I think?) he is now feeling much better and his kidneys are behaving again, so dont give up hope.

Try and talk to your doctor so you dont worry so much, they are there to help and you have many things available to you should your kidney situation get worse again. Dialysis is not something you should be thinking about and worrying about, medicines have come a long way for nephritis.

Take care and let us know if we can help more.

love
Lily

I responded to your other post as well but right now my creatnine is 1.4 .. it was 1.0 steadily for like 5 months and it just went up but they told me it could have to do with my fluid intake.
