Hello everyone, I haven't been on here in a while and have missed everyone.
I had my bilateral knee replacement on April 9th and Monday will be 4 weeks, I am doing so good yall have no idea how happy I am. I don't dread having to get up and walk anymore, I don't really even think about it, I just do it. It is so wonderful to walk without excruciating pain.:rotfl: I can now get up out of and back in the bed by myself, I can almost get up from a low chair on my own, I am still working on that. The only thing is that my knees get stiff and I have to stretch through the scar tissue but my PT says that will get easier and better in time. Probably next week I will get off the wlker and go to a cane, i dont think I need it any more but just use it for balance purposes so I don't fall, that wouldn't be good.

The great thing is my lupus hasn't flared up and I have been off of the Cellcept since a week before the surgery and I feel alot better off of it than I did when I was taking it.:) That might be because he bumped up my prednisone but hey, I know my other joints are not hurting bad and that's worth it to me. Honestly I would rather have to take 20 mgs of Prednisone than Cellcept any day.

Another good thing is, if everything goes right, i am planning on starting school in 6 months!!!! I am so excited and happy yall have no idea!!!!!
