Hi Martha

I just saw your post and I dont know if you have already left for the hospital. Just type in Thermography Test into Google and there are a range of sites with information on it. Sorry I would have posted some links but I am rushing out myself and dont have time right now.

Hope it goes well for you

Thanks for your reply Joan.

I just got back. He said that he can see that some of my capilaries are inflammed, which is consistent with raynauds. Also, he did the cold test which showed that after been put in cold water, they did not warm up again after 10 mins. This is again consistent with raynauds.

I forgot to say that he mentioned tablets for raynauds. Does anyone know anything about this medication? Is it safe to use with plaquenil?

Hi Martha,

Doctors use many different pills or creams to help the effects of Raynauds. Usually they use calcium channel blockers such as Adalat, Procardia or Norsac. They also help skin ulcers which I know you are prone to. My doctor has also had success with creams such as nitroglycerin and viagra. He recently told me that a drug is just finishing up in trials that looks very promising. They are hoping to have FDA approval some time this summer. The name went in one ear and out the other unfortunately.

I believe some others on the site are on channel blockers and plaquenil. You could call the pharmacy to find out quickly.

Take care,
Lazylegs
