Hello welcome to the site, sorry I'm not from NZ (live in UK) and i'm older (41) but thought I'd say hello anyway :)
I'm also fairly new to site and think it's a great place for everything "lupus related" - I find that using search for keywords re any questions I have is really useful, and responding to threads is a fun way to keep in contact with others/offer your opinion. I'm sure that the more I come on this site the more involved I will become, friends I will make etc and i've been recommending the site to anyone who I think will find it usefull.:)

Hi Luky and welcome to the site.
I am from Massachusetts.
This is a great place to talk with people who know what Lupus brings to us daily.
It is a great support place and a great place to find out all you need to know about Lupus and treatment.
Nice to meet you.

Hi Luky,
Chat is often confusing in the beginning especially if there are a lot of people in there. If someone uses a word shortcut please ask them what it means that is how I learned 4 years ago when I was new to the site.
There are a couple of members from NZ but I know one doesn't come to chat and I am not sure if the other one still posts. However there are other young people from Australia who post and go to chat. That could be helpful as they are closer to you time wise.
You might also find posting the in the Under 20's group ( you are barely in your twenties :wink2: ) might be helpful. However there are many things with lupus that cross all age lines. I have friends in your age group and friends that are a bit older than me but when we talk about lupus you wouldn't know the difference. By the way I am old, I'm 46
The more you post or go to chat the more people will get to know you. Then you will feel more comfortable with the site as a whole.
Take care,
Karen
