Hello enrico
This is your other post
hi.
just wanted to ask if it makes sense to u....
i have just had some more tests and somethin' in the results sounds weird to me...urine test says I have 223 units/mg of eritrocytes in my urine when the limit value is 18.!!!! I probably have autoimmune anemia but 223 sounds a bit too much to me!
what do you think? If any of you ever had blood in the urine could he/she please tell me what his/her value was....should i b worried?
I don't know if you should be worried or not, but you need to see your doctor to find out what could be causing it and further investigation.
It doesn't matter what other people's test results were, or why in their case, because you are you. :) Sorry to sound unhelpful but there is no point speculating about it - that's what your doctor's there for.
Let us know what he says and I hope he can reassure you.
On an unrelated topic, please take great care not to use 'text speak': abbreviations of words, like 'b' for 'be'.
Standard written English is required here. All lower case is fine and we don't care about spelling or grammar mistakes.
Bye for now
Clare

I have been doing the same thing. My urine has had blood in it for a couple of years. We finally did a renal ultra sound and my right kidney has slight enlargement which is barely out of norm and we are watching it. I had a cystoscopy Monday which was ok. The consensus between my rheumie and my urologist is that it is inflmmation of the kidneys due to Lupus and extreme inflammation that is going on with me for the past couple of years. My RA is the worst that it has ever been and so is my AS. My joints are falling apart. and that's no joke. I am taking Slow FE for my iron but it is killing my stomch. Going to have to talk to him about that. I am trying to eat high in iron foods. My iron count is 7. i get dizzy, very fatigued, trembly and blurry vision. I need some iron! Think I will drag out my cast iron pots that belonged to my mother in law. Supposedly you get more iron cooking in them. I fixed some liver last night but I couldn't eat it.
Best wishes on getting answers and help.
