Hi,
I think using my laptop makes my skin flare. I believe you can get UV filters for laptop/computer screens (apparently most new computers have filters built in but my laptop is as old as the hills). I have attempted to look on the pc world web site but couldn't find anything. Does anyone else know what I am referering to and do the filters have a 'proper' name?

They are called screens or filters in the USA. They are available for laptops and regular computer monitors. There are also sleeves that go over the long flourscent light bulbs used in offices and stores. Check with any office products store for them. Online stores will have them also. I believe in the other countries it will be the same.
Here are links to some.

This one takes you to a list of all the different sizes of screen filters available. You measure your monitor on the diaganol to figure out what size you need.

This is a ergonomic site that carries polarizing light sleeves. This is something that working people can request their employers install in their work areas if they are ultra sensitive to UV rays. If you live in a different country just google polarizing light sleeves and then you can find links for your area. I know that the USA and the UK have disability laws requiring employers to make adjustments for their disabled employees. I imagine other countries have similar laws. The larger the employer you work for the more likely to get your requests authorized.
