Functional Capacity Assessment

Hi there

I have been told that I need to attend a Functional Capacity Assessment. It lasts a full day virtually has any one got any experience of this type of assessment?

No, but I'm wondering who told you that you needed to attend this? Is it for disability? If so then I'd be interested in hearing more about this as I've had to have some things done too for that (neuro-psychiatric testing for me). Haven't heard back from them after that was done either now that I think about it.

Is the Functional Capicity Assessment related to your DLA? I ask because the name is similar to a form my doctor had to fill out when I was in process of getting SSDI. I am in the USA so things are sometimes called different names here. Especially with government departments and forms. :rotfl:

It is work related, they want to see what I am able and unable to do
