We have a very tiny vegetable garden. We plant tomato plants and cucumbers.
I bought the cucumber seeds awhile back. So I put them up. Thinking this is a good place, I will remember where they are.
We went to plant the garden trying to beat the rain that was to come. Well.... we got the tomatos planted. For the life of me I can't remember where I put my cucumber seed.
I have looked all week. Even laid in bed trying to think where that seed is. I thought of a place and dear hubby got out of bed took his little flashlight and went and looked for me. It wasn't behind the dog treats.
I guess next time I go to town I will buy more cucumber seeds.:wink2:
Hubby says I will find them when we retire and move out of the house.:rotfl:
Take care everyone!
Still trying to remember. :hehe:

Lyn -
It's obvious to me that the cucumber seeds are purposely hiding from you. That's the only reasonable explanation.
You didn't really want any pickles this year, did you????

look behind the breadbox.
I used to find all kinds of things there for some reason. I don't have one now, so things get lost else where

Lyn,
I have soooooo lost somany item that it isn't even funny. I am currently looking for a Xmas present from two years ago. I wish that I could tell you where to look for them, but I cannot. I'd give up and go buy more, they sometimes show up after that.
Nancy
I figured out the secret to finding lost items, look right in front of you! Well it's been working for me lately.
I didn't take them...
Hi Lyn,
I'd try the crisper section of your fridge, seems like the logical place to me :wink2: and exactly where I would probably put them :p

Hi Lyn
Here's a few suggestions based on personal experience ;)
The middle drawer of the fridge freezer
The laundry or ironing basket
The wastepaper bin in the loo
The bottom of my handbag
The tea caddy:eek:
The boot of the car
Your underwear drawer:blush:
Also - check the garden for little growing green things....maybe you already planted them :hehe:
And seeing as Clare seems to be the light fingered one.....
CLARE! Have you seen my portable house phone by any chance??
Cheers
Joan:rose:

Hi Lyn
Wasn't me. Keep all my seeds in a biscuit tin to the right of my pc. They always stay right there where I can see them and I still manage to get particular seeds out ready to plant them when it is a month too late in the season.
I also have an A4 size diary next to my pc which I manage to forget to look at until after my apppointments, so my idea of paperclipping seed packs onto the correct month of my diary is unlikely to be of use. It's a good plan for normal people, I think.
Might make your diary a bit lumpy for writing in, mind you ...
I once drawing pinned all my seeds to the inside of my garden shed in order of planting only to find, as I picked off my first pack to plant, that the mice had run up the side of the shed and gobbled up the lot - hence thte biscuit tin by my pc!
Sometimes it's funny, but other times my forgetfulness drives me nuts!
Hope they turn up soon.

I find that I have to walk around the house going from room to room to try & jog my memory. It can take a while but I usually get there.
Although mostly with me things end up in the fridge, phone, sanitary towels etc.
Can't wait to see where you find them Lyn :hehe:
Take care,
Pam xxx

I have looked on top of, underneath, in cupboard drawers, behind things. Still I haven't found them.:( I now have two drawers nicely cleaned.:wink2:
I did go to town and bought more cucumber seed today.
They are on the end of my island and will hopefully be planted tomorrow.:fingers: I have not touched them since I brought them home!:rotfl:
Thanks for all your helpful hints.:grouphug2: I needed the laughs and smiles all your replys gave me. It has been driving me nuts trying to find them:scratch:
I hope I didn't eat them in my sleep as a midnight snack. :rotfl:
Take care everyone.
Lots of Love,
Lyn
