Prednisone and Blood work results

I will be having bloodwork in 4 weeks and would like to go back on Prenisone for 7-10 days right now. Will this short cycle affect the bloodwork or will the prednisone be out of my system by then?

who knows whether it will or not, no guarentees. But, it's more important to treat the disease than worry about the test results to my way of thinking.

I don't know what sort of dose you were thinking of. Sometimes if I take a higher dose for a time the White Blood Count is higher but so long as the Doc. who reads your results is familiar with what you have taken,I would think they could interpret accordingly.

Like LolaLola said, depends on how much you take. It will increase your white count and throw your glucose off. But it does normalize in time and let the doc. reading your results know. Thats all. Hope it works out for you.
