Aspirin and Blood test

Hiya, today I am having a lupus anticoagulant test again at the London Lupus Centre, just to make sure everything is still the same etc.

I have a mad headache today and was wondering if taking aspirin would affect the test result? Obviously I want it to be as clear as possible, but I only have aspirin and can't go out to get anything else.

I haven't taken any yet, just want to know if it might give a false result on my tests

Sorry I don't know and suggest you give them a call, so you get advice from the horse's mouth. :) I can only guess it wouldn't because you are already on blood thinners but best to make sure- I don't want to be blamed for giving poor advice !
