Hi,
I thought I'd let everyone in on the prank I pulled on my GP. Now I've been a patient in this practice for @ 14yrs. So I have gotten to know all these docs really well and my hubby and youngest daughter are also patients there. Anyways, back in April I was in for a check-up, my doc happened to ask when I had my last pap smear. I told him it had been about five years. Of course he had a bit of a fit. Insisted I schedule one. I asked him if he wanted to do it himself or refer me out, he said he'd do it so I scheduled him to do it. I was his first patient of the morning so I (being just a bit ornery) Ha! let his nurse in on what I was going to do, she cracked up. I disrobed, put on the gowns and waited for doc to come in. When he came in he asked if there was anything I had a question about before we got started, I told him no-he postions me flips up the drape sheet and almost fell off his stool. ROFLMBO!!! I had posted a "sticky note" down there that said, "OUT OF ORDER". :rotfl:
Of course it took him a moment to compose himself (tee-hee) then he tells me he should have expected something like that from me. (Yep, he sure should have) I told him for all the "surprises" he's given me in the way of additional dx's, strict instructions and so forth through the last few years it was the least I could do!
Hope this gives you all a little laugh.
Michelle
