I realize you all think, that all I do is watch tv, and yes, you are pretty much correct. I have gotten in several books in this summer from my favorite authors; James Patterson and Janet Evanovich- both authors have several series going on so I have had some great books to read.
I am here to chat about tv though. My DD loves to cook (she gets this from DH) so one of her favorite channels is The Food NetWork Channel. My DD has gotten me hooked on Paula Deen-she does Home Cooking and Paula's Party. She is from Georgia and has the most incredible food/recipes and she is just great to watch. I tivo her and watch her in those wee hours when I can't sleep and it is just great.
There are alot of new tv shows I have found, but since this is already a long post I will just stop with the best one. It is not a new show-just to me.:hehe:
Enjoy,

I've been watching Animal Planet too & end up in tears half the time. My favorite night of the week is Thursday as I sit down at 8pm to watch Holby City (UK medical drama), House then Grey's Anatomy.
I know they are all medical dramas but I love them & it's the only night where I put my feet up for 3 hours!!
Becca - don't you dare spill the beans on House or Grey's, your episodes are ahead of ours

Becca,
I love my TV as well. We normally do not watch much TV until night time. I have been watching Top Chef on Bravo and it has had me on the edge of my seat. I also watch the Food Network's , the next Food Network Star. Now, for laughs and grins, on Monday nights on the COURTTV network, we watch all the shows about speeders, beach patrols, etc.

Becca,
I am with you..I just love that Meer Kat Manor show... Those little creatures are so cute with their babies..I love to watch thier social structure and to see how they interact. They are so fast!...
I like to watch C.S.I. too. I watch life time movies also..I also like the old movie classics on Turner Classics..Old movies like Rebbeca, Leave Her To Heaven with Gene Teirney. The old Wuthering Heights move..Some of the very best movies made were made years ago...A newer movie that I really enjoyed that is now out on D.V.D was, The Painted Veil..It is a good love story..It is based on the Somerset Maugham book.
I have been reading a lot lately. I book a few books by D.H. Lawernce.
I also bought a few Jodi Picoult books. I have read most of Anita Shreve's books and always enjoy her books..
Have fun watching your fav shows and reading your fav books!
Love,
Sandy
