My DLA review Forms arrived in the post Friday. I get reviewed Every 3 years. :( Oh how we all hate the forms and the stress of getting it all sorted. This time I will have help from my Social worker and My Mental health Support worker, as I useless at all of this. I got to have the forms back by 28th August. I let you know how it goes. Keep me in your thoughts. We that are entitled to DLA should not have to have this added Stress...

Hi Sheila,
When you're answering the questions on the form think of the days when you are at your worst and answer the questions accordingly.
Good Luck.

Just wondering when it says "how many days you have these problems?" on the forms. You fill the form in as every day is a bad day, do you pick 7 days out of 7, even thought 2 days out of a week, it is easier. See why I am not gonna fill the form in, but get help. I get so confused.

You need to be ill more days than not. For example my Son gets DLA and he is sick 4-5 days a week.

If your condition flares up and then subsides and you don't really know when you are going to have a bad day, it is ok to write "varies acording to condition" and explain that some days you are ok and some days you are exhausted and in severe pain.
This is the nature of Lupus!
If your condition does indeed flare up and then subside it is best to be honest about this. Discuss with the adviser about the wording.
